April start on site for 41 Bengal Street
This mixed use scheme on Bengal Street, next to the former George Leigh Street school, is due to begin construction in April 2006.

The eight storey building will be finished in white render and has a cut away in the centre allowing through views to the adjacent former school as well as producing interesting light/shade changes throughout the day. When completed the scheme, designed by architects MBLC, will offer 48 apartments, 1100 sq m of commercial space as well as 27 car spaces.
